Cushings disease puts dogs at increased risk for diabetes, pancreatitis, calcium oxalate bladder stones, pulmonary thromboembolism, hypertension (high blood pressure), urinary tract infections, protein-losing kidney disease, skin problems, and congestive heart failure. Cushings disease affects primarily middle-aged and older dogs.
