Warmer than humans is normal for dogs.

One reason your dog's belly feels warm is that your dog's belly is warm! dogs have an average temperature of 100-102.5 degrees Fahrenheit, several degrees warmer than the human average of 98.6 degrees.

However, for dogs, a temperature above 103 degrees is cause for concern.
