French Bulldogs aren't French, they're only part bulldog, and despite looking so tough and serious, they're popular and delightful companions… They rarely bark and are champion couch potatoes, although they love to chase a ball and can express great enthusiasm.

Like tomatoes, raw potatoes contain solanine, a compound that is toxic to some dogs.

If you do feed your dog a potato, it should be baked or boiled, with nothing added to it.

potatoes fried in oil, such as french fries or potato chips, or potatoes with butter or salt added to them are not healthy for dogs.

Safe: Some Vegetables.

Your dog can have a healthy snack of carrot sticks, green beans, cucumber slices, or zucchini slices.

Even a plain baked potato is OK.

Don't let your dog eat any raw potatoes or any potato plants from your pantry or garden.

When feeding your dog a sweet potato, make sure it's cooked and that the skin is removed; leaving the skin on makes it harder for your dog to digest. You should never feed your dog a raw sweet potato. Not only are they difficult to chew, but they can upset your dog's stomach and potentially cause intestinal blockage.
As a general rule of thumb, you should feed a French Bulldog puppy aged 8 to 12 weeks around 1 and a half cups of food a day, in 3 separate meals. As your Frenchie gets older, the number of cups of food you should feed them will change.

On average, you can expect to pay between $1,500-$3,000.

According to NextDayPets, the average price for all French Bulldogs sold is $2,200.

The French Bulldog price increases even more for dogs with an exceptional breeding history.

Prices for top-quality dogs with outstanding breed lines can range from $5,500-$10,000.

Bulldogs are not aggressive by nature, but like any dog, they can become aggressive when provoked… If a Bulldog has been improperly socialized, it is much more likely that he will bite as an adult. Although Bulldogs are completely gentle and calm with their owners, they tend to be wary of strangers and strange dogs.
