Bella in New Jersey

Introducing Bella!! She is 4 years old and full of happy energy. Her previous owners surrendered her when they had to relocate and were unable to take her with them. She has been to the vet (where everyone absolutely loved her) and was found to have a urinary infection and bladder stone. She was started on antibiotics and a UR diet.

Bella has demonstrated some behavioral urination issues. The first two days in foster care she marked several rooms but after those couple days, she has not marked in her foster home since. When greeting a male once, she peed all over him and continually sprinkled in his home. Sadly, this sweet gal likes to eat poop too….be it deer, rabbit, or cat poo. Her foster mom pulls her away anytime she sees her sniffing around outside, but she is quick!!

She has not been introduced to other dogs yet while with FBV but her former owners reported she was okay with them. She does live with cats and loves to chase them around the house. She is starting to settle down with them, but the cats have also learned to stay clear of her. Bella’s foster mom will continue to assess Bella’s ability to live harmoniously with other dogs and cats.

She is gentle when taking treats and so far, has shown no food aggression. She is also crate trained. She is really such a sweetie and loves to give tons of kisses. All she seems to want to do is play, play, play.
