Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Corgis may be short, but they're not lacking in muscle. Though stout legs make it hard to run long distances with the Corgi, he's still perfect for short or long walks and even some light jogging.
Corgis are watchful dogs, so they do well in an apartment with windows where they can watch the street outside. Their best situation is an owner who can take them on long walks and lives near a dog park, but they still work in small apartments due to their small size and cuddly nature.
Adult Pembroke Welsh corgis are about 10 to 12 inches tall and weigh from 23 to 28 pounds (10 to 13 kilograms). They are full size at about a year of age, but some keep filling out until age two or even three.
