The Braque Francais Pyrenean, as termed by the American Kennel Club, is the most common Braque Francais breed in the United States currently. Seth Leyendecker of Brielle Kennels acquired his first in 2010. His grandfather was a breeder of German Shorthaired Pointers, so Leyendecker acquired a passion for pointing breeds at an early age.
