Never have two females together, regardless of the age, this is trouble looking for a place to happen! All introductions to new addition should be done on neutral territory and before you make the final commitment to purchasing a new dog. Prevention is better than cure. With cross breeds, look at each breed.

The first advice a breeder gives when it comes to mating for a Min Pin is that a bitch should be no less than two and a half years old for a first pregnancy. The health tests for mating and pregnancy cannot even be performed before this time; not to mention the dog is still somewhat a puppy herself.

The American Pit Bull Terrier must have an outlet. They do not typically slow down until they hit 5 years of age, and sometimes, not even then. We recommend: daily running, climbing, agility, weight pulling, tire swinging, hiking…you get the gist. Any kind of strenuous activity will drain a Pit Bulls energy. A tired “terrorist” saves your sanity.

American Staffordshire Terrier Also native to the United States, this breed is derived from the Old English Bulldog and Old English Terrier mix. Its uses, like its peers, went back to blood fights with bulls or dogs. This prohibited activity has not prevented it from remaining as a pet and companion dog. Elegant, with a short tail and short fur.
