5. Denmark Feist. The Denmark, despite their confusing name, is actually a dog of American origin. Descended from a Feist dog and brought by the Slade family in 1917, it was used to hunt boar, bobcats, and squirrels. Overtime, the breed was refined and in 1984 the Denmark Treeing Feist was introduced to the world.
