Because cats are smaller than most dogs, there is a tendency for dogs to see cats as prey.

A dog that is socialized from a young age with cats is far less likely to develop cat killing behavior.

  • No, a Cat cannot kill a dog ,Dog is very strong. A larger domestic cat could kill a smaller dog, for sure. Pound for pound, a cat with a full set of claws is more deadly than a dog. A cat very skilled in the deadly art of killing could probably take out a larger dog, up to a point.
