It is safe to occasionally feed your dog boiled eggs; however you should not give your dog too much egg. The egg yolk, white, and shell are all safe for consumption by dogs. The extra nutrients found in eggs can help your dog stay healthy, and have a healthy coat. Eggs are a budget friendly way to add extra protein to your dogs diet.

Yes, hard-boiled is fine. Chopped hard-boiled eggs are a favorite of many dogs, and some people feed them whole without peeling off the shell. Scrambled (without butter) and poached eggs are also healthy choices. Cooked eggs are an excellent form of digestible protein and can be served safely in small quantities to most dogs.

As for dogs, you can use hard-boiled eggs (in pieces) as training treats instead of making them a large feature of your dogs protein needs. Eggs are a good source of digestible protein , but again, moderation is key. 7

Yes, you can feed hard-boiled eggs to your dogs because the hard-boiled eggs are not made using any additives plus they are safe. However, you need to practice portion control. As mentioned above only 10% of the daily calorie intake of your dog should come from eggs.

But, eggs are also one of the highest quality forms of protein you can feed your pet! Ultimately, a hard boiled egg is Hoochs favorite thing on the planet so, with our vets approval we opted to leave them in his food.
