yes they do, but now it has been banned to have their tails
docked (cut very small at birth) so cocker spaniles have long tails
now for their whole life

All cocker spaniels are born with tails.

The breeding standard for cocker spaniels is to dock the tail.

tails should be docked between the age of 3 and 5 days.

I dock our Tails but some breeders take their puppies to their vet to be docked.
