Do parent dogs feel sad or upset if you give their puppies/offspring away? (But I've never found homes for all the pups in one day.) The newly adopted puppies are more likely to be lonely.

But will probably miss it's litter-mates as much, if not more than it's mother (as long as it is 7 or 8 weeks old).

As long as puppies are removed from eight weeks onwards and are given to owners gradually and not all in one go, she will soon be feeling herself. If a litter is removed from a mother all in one go this could greatly upset her due to the immediate change causing anxiety.
