If you are breeding for the AKC or another established dog club,
you need registration. However, if you are breeding "just to breed"
or for money (also called backyard breeding), you may want to hold
out. Dogs can carry genetic defaults (Hip Dysplasia among others)
and passing along those defaults only adds to the large number of
poorly bred dogs to begin with. Dog breeding is also VERY expensive
