Treatments that do help and are readily available include acupuncture, exercise, diet and nutraceuticals.
Acupuncture can help by stimulating the nervous system.
Exercise is probably the most important modality for affected dogs.
Hydrotherapy is the safest and most effective form of exercise for these patients.
