i have read about this topic, and it seems about a quarter cup
can be lethal. If it spills, wash it away with water, and hose off
if possible.
Actually it depends on the size of the dog. My dog recently died
due to antifreeze, he was a 90+ pound Lab. He would have needed at
least a cup of antifreeze to cause damage to his kidneys and kill
him. The smaller the animal the smaller the amount of poison. If
your pet consumes a small amount you may have a chance to bring him
to the vet and save him or her.

One tablespoon of antifreeze can cause severe, acute kidney failure in dog, and 5 tablespoons can kill a medium sized dog. For cats, 1 teaspoon can be fatal. Symptoms of poisoning can be broken down into 3 stages: Stage 1: This occurs 30 minutes to 12 hours after ingestion.
