We called smart dog inquiring about training our cattle dog. At first we were sticker shocked at the cost. We decided to give them a try. When Ian arrived at our house it was like we knew him our entire lives. Within a few minutes of Ian meeting our dog I could see the value. He is the dog whisperer. Extremely professional with almost instant results. Not only does he teach the dog, he also works with the owners. Though pricey you definitely get what you pay for. This training was well worth it.

No, rawhide does not dissolve in the dog's stomach. In fact, the opposite is true — the rawhide swells up. Far from being broken down, rawhide forces your dog to pass the pieces they swallow, making for a risk of bowel blockage.
