Try one forth of a cup to start with for a small puppy, a little more if he/she is a big puppy, just to see how much he/she will eat, then go from there, you will learn how much your puppy likes and not him/her sick. All puppies are different so just kind of play around with the amounts. If all the food is not ate at the time, pick up the rest so puppy wont make its self sick.

By around eight weeks of age your puppy should be eating solid food.

Puppies should be fed three to four times a day therefore if you are currently feeding ? a cup of puppy food twice a day you should consider spacing it out by feeding ? cup three times a day.
