Labradors come in a wide variety of sizes, so average growth and weight figures can be misleading. On average, lab puppies will weigh just over two pounds for each week of age. For example, an 8-week-old pup might weigh around 16 pounds, and a 4-month old puppy might weigh around 32 pounds. Don't Miss: When Do Labs Stop Growing

Normally, lab puppies will weigh over 2 pounds for every week of age. By way of example, an 8-week-old pup might weigh around 16 lbs, along with a 4-month old puppy might weigh around 32 pounds. You are able to weigh your pup weekly to document progress and correct food intake if you are necessarily concerned about the growth of your puppy.

When your Labrador puppy is a newborn, you can expect him to weigh between 8 and 24 ounces. He will grow quickly, however, and it is important to remember that birth weight is not a good indicator of final size.

It is one pound or less when it is born. At the age of two months, the puppys weigh is approximately eleven to seventeen pounds. At the period of four months, the lab puppy is around 25lbs. The weekly increase of two pounds weights reduces when they attain 26 months. Their weigh may differ due to different reasons.

15,785. Location: Andorra and Spain. Here's a useful chart which you can refer to for checking your dog's body condition. Some vets prefer that dogs, especially larger breed dogs like Labradors who are prone to joint problems, should be even slimmer than what is shown here as a 3 - probably more like a 2.5 on this scale.
