The life expectancy of a Brittan Spaniel when it is young is not known. It depends on the breed and the environment where it was raised. A small breed such as this breed can live up to 16 years, but most live up to about 10 years old. These dogs tend to get sick at an earlier age than other breeds, so this should be expected.
