1) Build quiet, safe spaces
Some dogs feel safer when they know they can get away from the hustle and bustle. Set up peaceful areas in the office, ideally cosy kennels, with no passing traffic. Your dog will appreciate knowing they can retreat to a peaceful area if they feel anxious.
2) Turn desks into dens
Desks with sides and backs can make for a cosy den for your dog. Your dog can stay close to you, in a comfy place making them feel more secure.
3) Nominate a canine first aider
It's important you have a trained canine first aider on hand for any hiccups that could occur in the office. Ideally you will have more than one person who can do this.
4) Build an area for activities
Fun and interactive areas, like an agility course, are perfect for pets to blow off steam, learn new tricks and bond with their owners.
