The Blue Picardy Spaniel is a medium-sized dog that stands 22 to 24 inches tall and weighs 40 to 45 pounds at maturity with females being slightly smaller than males. Temperament/Behavior. Typical of the spaniel type, the Blue Picardy Spaniel is a loyal and faithful companion, though he is definitely not afraid of doing some hard work.

Blue Picardy Spaniel. The Blue Picardy Spaniel is a medium to large purebred also called Epagneul Bleu de Picardie and nicknamed the Bleu Picard or Blue Picardy. While its name suggests it is a spaniel it is actially a pointing dog from France. Its name Picardy comes from the region of northern France where it was bred.

So long as it's a pure, naturally dehydrated, single source protein, your dog can chow down on as much beef, bison, venison or elk jerky his or her heart desires. The moral of the story is simple: yes, you can feed jerky to your dog. You just need to be sure it's the right kind of jerky.

Yes, homemade jerky is absolutely safe for your dog as long as you skip the spices. You certainly don't have to have any special equipment to make jerky ; all you need is an oven.

The word "jerky" derives from the Quechua word ch'arki which means "dried, salted meat". All that is needed to produce basic "jerky" is a low-temperature drying ...

Blue Picardy Spaniel appearance. Blue Picardy Spaniels are handsome dogs indeed. They weigh around 45lbs, and stand 22-24 inches tall at the shoulder. Male Blue Picardies are perceptibly bigger than females, but only just. They have medium to long length coats with beautiful feathering at their ears, legs and tail.
