Jonnie in Virginia

Jonnie is a 3-year-old gal who came to us from a breeder. She was cautious initially upon coming into rescue but has really come out of her shell! She wants non-stop attention and is always either sitting on her foster mom’s lap or right next to her. So far, she seems healthy but does need to be spayed.

She loves going on walks and being outside. She is amazing on leash, doesn’t pull and is constantly checking in with foster mom. She doesn’t like other dogs but on walks mainly ignores them. Though, every once in a while, she’ll let out a bark when she sees one.

She’s been doing great with potty training, only one accident in the last week. She is also discovering toys and really loves them, and she’s pretty good at fetch. When meeting new people, she’s shy at first but once comfortable, she’ll want constant pets from them.

Jonnie is the sweetest girl. She loves her food but doesn’t love getting nose balm put on; though, she will let foster mom do it. She does really well in her crate whenever she has to be left alone and sleeps through the night in it with no complaints….but this girl can snore! Haha!

She really wants to please and to be loved so get ready for when she is ready to find her forever.
