Mark Sloan – TX

Meet adoptable deaf dog Mark Sloan who is a 3.5 year old Catahoula mix searching for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, make daily positive reinforcement training/socialization/enrichment a priority and always keep him safe.

From his shelter advocate: Mark Sloan aka “McSteamy” or Marky Mark is what we like to call him, is our deaf Catahoula mix boy here at Live Oak Animal Control. We have him aged at about 3.5 years old.

This handsome dude was dumped right in front of our police station on February 27th, 2023, probably because they couldn’t handle or understand a deaf dog. Mark did not need to be treated like this.

Mark is actually great dog who is already potty trained. He is super lovable and loves to give hugs and kisses. Which he is actually super gentle when he does jump up on you. However, he does need to work on his excitement jumping but other than that he is a wonderful dog. Please share this handsome boy! He deserves a second chance at a furrever home!!
