Milka is a 3-4 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross. ” I’m foster home in Cumbria, I am a friendly girl who loves to give you kisses or to curl up next to you and put my head on your lap.
I also like my quiet times and will take myself off to bed now and again. I’ve just learnt to sit and stay and take treats gently. I have been working on my recall too.
I do my business outside, but sometimes I need encouragement when the weather is a miserable error.
I so look forward to my walks and get so excited when I do, that I can pull on the lead when we first head off, but then I calm down and walk nicely. I will go to my lead to remind you to take me out if you have not done it yet!
I like other dogs on walks or at the beach. I’m originally from Cyprus and flew to my foster home in Cumbria in October.
My foster parents have just taught me how to play with toys and I love to catch a ball now and again or work out doggy puzzles.
I get on well with the resident French Bulldog, and we often play together, so I should be good with other dogs, with slow introductions. I am not sure what cats are, sorry! I’d prefer a home without a cat, but I’m happy to live with dogs or as an only dog!
In my foster home, I am living with a 7 year old who I like, but as I’m quite big and can get excited at times, I’d prefer to live with older teens who are used to dogs.
I am wary of some strangers coming to the house and will need slow introductions. The ideal home for me would be somewhere without many visitors and in a quiet area without much traffic.
I can be left for short periods but would prefer my family to be around most of the time as I love my humans!
I don’t eat or chew anything I shouldn’t and I am very eager to please, but I still need a little confidence building, as I can be a bit unsure of myself at times.
I love my treats, so any treat-based training will get you a lot further. I am looking for an active forever home where I can flourish.
Are you an experienced owner who has plenty of time to train me, take me for long walks in the countryside and then snuggle on the sofa? If so, please contact Melina at STAR!! I am in foster in Cumbria.
I can live with a resident dog or alone. I’d like to live with a single person, a couple, or a family with older teens.
I need a quiet home in the countryside, without many visitors. I need some training and would like experienced owners. RBU from STAR. Home check and adoption fee applies.” – Quote
