Meet adoptable deaf bully mix Prissy who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her and always keep her safe.

From her rescue advocate: This beautiful blued eyed girl is Prissy, who came all the way up from Georgia to find her forever home in Western New York. She has been bounced around quite a bit and needs a stable and loving forever home who are willing to continue working with her on her training and confidence.

Prissy is very sweet, happy and is a big snuggler. She is very well behaved, does not get into things she should not, and is great in her pen overnight and otherwise. She is potty trained but one should expect accidents with any new dog while they learn the household routine. She gets along with her foster dog-siblings, takes their corrections well and loves to play. Prissy has a lot of energy and would do great in an active home with other dog sibling(s) to play with, but she also knows how to keep herself occupied with toys and kong balls. Prissy was previously fostered with an older child but we are unsure on cats. Prissy does get anxious when new people come over so slow and controlled introductions are best. She is quick to warm up once she realizes they are OK and her foster mom is working with her to overcome this. Her foster mom is also working with her on training with a vibrate collar and hand signals. She is a very smart girl who is picking things up very quickly. She sits nicely for treats, goes into her pen when you point, recalls on vibrate and even lets her foster mom and dad use the paw plunger!
