Cranberries, in moderation, are basically safe for dogs to eat. According to the American Kennel Club (AKC), if you want to offer your pooch a cranberry or few as a treat around Thanksgiving time or anytime, there is no essential harm in doing so. In fact, cranberries even contain some healthy nutrients that can benefit your dog.

Cranberries are not recommended for dogs. Dogs have hard time digesting raw cranberries and it may lead to upset stomach. Raw foods are best for humans to eat, in order for us to absorb all of the vitamins and minerals within the fruit.

Yes, dried cranberries are safe for dogs! However, be sure they arent mixed with raisins which are very dangerous to dogs.
