They do not allow dogs at this park. There is plenty of parking and overall it's pretty quiet here. It's probably noisiest near the kids playground which is also pretty cool with lots of activities. There's been some construction over the years but I think they are pretty much completed for the time being.

Dogs must be leashed, but retractable leashes will not be allowed. Please clean up after your pets; waste bags will be available around the park. There will be an off-the-leash area, and rescues and shelters will be here from 10 am to 4 pm. Cantignys regular $10 parking fee applies.

Dogs of all sizes are allowed throughout the park and on the trails. They must be on leash except in off lead areas, and for your dog to be legally off lead, an off-leash tag must be purchased. trail engagement photos

Dogs and cats in particular can reduce stress, anxiety , and depression, ease loneliness, encourage exercise and playfulness, and even improve your cardiovascular health. Caring for an animal can help children grow up more secure and active. Pets also provide valuable companionship for older adults.

Pets are only allowed within Acadia National Park with certain restrictions. They must be restrained at all times on a leash no longer than six feet in length. This protects dogs from becoming lost and from other hazards such as porcupines and sick, injured, or rabid animals.
