Vet vs. Groomer.

The vet's office is one the most popular options when getting your dog's nails clipped.

Some vet's include the cost of nail clipping in the annual checkup price, but if you're getting the nails done separately, the average cost will be $10 or less.

If the dogs are only having their nails clipped then it's ?6 per dog. The vets charge the same, but if you are in on an appointment for something else will do them free of charge #12 Fleur , Feb 20, 2014

my first dog was pretty neurotic about having his nails trimmed and i brought him once to the vet to be sedated and the charge was $30 for a 28 pound dog (plus the nail cutting charge) ... but to be honest, they gave my dog three doses of the sedation and he was still not sedated and they just took him and did it ... he started to fall asleep on the way home ... not sure how big your dog is but i ended up using a very large beach towel and wrapping him snug in it and taking one paw out at a ...

Bathing dog averages from 20 to 40 dollars. If you want only the nails trimming service for your dog, you will pay anything between $7 and $20. Again, this depends on the groomer and grooming methods used. What Are The Benefits Of Nail Trimming For Dogs?

The exact cost depends on the vet in question and whether you have health insurance for your pet. Most vets charge between $7 and $20 for the service. You may be able to pay more to have the nails ground down instead of clipped.

If you were to take your dog to an emergency vet during after hours, the cost range could be double or even triple this, depending on the geographical ...
