Generally speaking an x-ray can cost $40 to $125; and any additional views may be an additional may range from $20 to 75 dollars. On top of that add the vet exam. Of course, these are very general costs for dog x-rays. If you are wondering, just call around vet clinics, they will let you know.

I paid about ?150 last year to have my Cavalier's hips and lower back, plus one hind leg, X-rayed. It's much cheaper for a little dog as hips and back were all on one plate. I'm in the south. Vets are said to charge more if your dog is insured.

The cost may vary based on location and whether one or more views are needed.

Also, consider whether the dog needs to be sedated for it.

How much does a Pet X-ray examination cost? A pet X-ray examination, including an anaesthetic or sedation, costs ?289. Where we are required to perform other investigations at the same time, such as an ultrasound or blood test, we have created a range of well-priced packages to try and minimise the cost of getting a diagnosis for your pet. .

The typical cost of X-rays in dogs is about $150 to $250. The procedure itself is relatively inexpensive, minimally invasive, and painless for your pet, but it requires the animal to remain still for an extended period of time. This is much more difficult to accomplish with a dog than with a human.

The average cost of a dog X-ray is between $75 and $300, depending on a number of factors. If your dog is sick or has been injured, your vet may order an X-ray. X-rays are important medical tools that help doctors and veterinarians diagnose a number of conditions, including broken bones.

Dog x-rays can range from $80 to $400. There are many different factors that can affect the price. For example, if your pup has to be sedated for the x-ray expect an extra fee as well.

In general, a single x-ray costs between $50-$125. Additional x-rays usually cost between $25-$75. The initial visit to your vet may cost between $50-$100. But the main factor to keep in mind is the cost of anesthetic.

Just dropped $400 on an X-ray for my 8 year old healthy male dog. He had puked 9 times today, and the panicked mother in me took him in. Nothing serious showed on the xrays (they did 4 views) but there was still some unidentifiable whiteness in his belly, could be food could be something making him sick.
