  • The American Bulldog is considered one of many different "bully" breeds, each of which is unique to some degree. All bulldog breeds are descended from a deliberate mix of bull baiting dogs that were selected for the endurance, strength, and toughness. They also have some terrier DNA because the terrier gives the dog intelligence and agility.
