XX-small crates are for dogs that are approximately 9 inches tall and 16 inches long. Those are mainly the so-called pocket dogs, and they include breeds such as chihuahuas, Yorkshire terriers, and Pomeranians. Next size is extra small, for doggies that are 11 inches tall and 18 inches long, including miniature dachshund, Maltese, and Pekingese.
