Dishwasher. If a KONG is particularly messy and a brush cleaning or finger cleaning is insufficient, I usually wash it on the top-rack of the dishwasher. KONG rubber toys are top-rack dishwasher safe. The heat will also thoroughly kill any residual bacteria and sanitize the toy.

Can you put a stuffed animal in the washer?

The mesh bag gives it an extra level of protection from snagging or being pummeled too much in the machine. Always wash stuffed animals on the gentle/delicate cycle. They just can't tolerate a more aggressive washing that a 'normal' cycle would give. You can use a warm or cool wash but steer clear of hot.
