One of the obvious concerns dog owners have when debating whether or not it is safe for their dog to swim in a swimming pool is chlorine and other pool chemicals. Just like humans, it is a good idea to shower (or hose) off after swimming so that the chlorine doesn't dry out their skin and fur.
