Can I take my dog on a plane UK?

The UK-based low-cost carriers will not allow pets to travel in the cabin. Flybe with the exception of assistance dogs, all dogs and cats travel in the hold of the aircraft. Thomson will carry pets in the cargo hold (contact Cargo department 0203 4327828). Germanwings carry cats and dogs in the cabin only.

Can I take my dog from UK to USA?

The UK is still classed as rabies free by the USA government and the rules for importation of dogs and cats are governed by the Centre for Disease Control. It is highly recommended to have your dog or cat vaccinated against rabies at least 30 days before they enter the USA and have a microchip to identify them.
