Windex can be very effective for spiders, and for killing large numbers of ants. Keep in mind, however, that ants breed quickly and do not take Windex back to their nest, so Windex is more of a temporary treatment rather than a type of elimination.

Does flea treatment expire?

There is no expiration date specified on the box or on the tube. As long as the product is in the tube which protects it from light and is sealed it does not expire. It is exposure to light and air that decrease the effectiveness.

Does peroxide kill fleas?

Hydrogen peroxide may kill fleas by drowning them or damaging the protective layer that keeps their bodies from dehydrating, but it can irritate skin and may discolor a pet's fur. Food-grade diatomaceous earth is a gentler alternative to commercial flea products. Killing their eggs reduces the flea population.

Does cold kill fleas?

Lowest Survivable Temperatures. It doesn't need to be quite freezing, or 32 degrees Fahrenheit, for fleas to freeze. Once the temperatures fall to 37 degrees, it's cold enough to kill mature fleas as well as eggs, larvae and pupae.
