A puppy can hold their bladder for 30 to 45 minutes max at 2 months old. 1.5hrs to 2hrs at 3 months old, and an hour for each month of their age at 4 months old and older. Use this as a rule of thumb and you will be closer to reality.

Can Samoyeds be left alone?

If you look into breed-rescue, maybe you could adopt a senior Samoyed. They will require less exercise. They are working dogs and need 2 ta 4 hours of good exercise a day unless you want to come home and have nothing left in your apartment. No dog should be expected to be left alone for 8 hours.

Can greyhounds be left alone?

Remember, it's all new to them. After a few days, most Greyhounds can be left alone for several hours safely. If you need to kennel-crate your new Greyhound for the first week or two while you are acclimating it to your home, discuss this with your placement representative.
