Like any other type of dog, pit bulls need to be groomed and bathed regularly. Because they have short fur and natural oils that protect their fur and skin, they do not need to be bathed too often. They can be bathed as often as once a month, or as infrequently as every 6 months.

How often should you wash a Goldendoodle?

At a minimum, it's advised to bathe your dog at least once every three months. You can wash your dog as frequently as every other week (with gentle shampoo, it could be even more frequent). When in doubt, use your judgment — if your dog starts to smell, it's probably time for a bath.

How often should you wash a greyhound?

Unless a greyhound gets particularly dirty it will not need bathing very often. Most greyhounds are bathed every 8-12 weeks. Washing too often strips the coat of its natural oils and dries the coat and the skin.

Should you wash sheets after buying?

Some packages of new bedsheets indicate that you should wash the sheets before putting them on the bed; others may not. But with any new sheets, washing them before use is a good idea to remove the chemical treatments placed on the fabric during manufacture.
