Snoop in Texas

Please welcome Snoop to the FBV family. He was surrendered by his owner due to his chronic skin and ear issues. He is a neutered, 5 to 6-year-old male who so far is a sweet, fun boy but does need boundaries.

He can be temperamental when it comes to bathing and ear cleaning. You must watch for his subtle signs of lip curling as he is telling you enough is enough with the pampering. He has shown some reactivity with the two large resident dogs but will hopefully calm down with his insecurities and learn the house rules soon enough. He is curious about the cats in the foster home but appears to know when to leave them alone. As far as children, he has done well with the kids in his foster home. It was also reported that he was good with kids of all ages while with his previous family.

Snoop appears to have some separation anxiety when his foster mom leaves his side. He also per his previous family still needs help with potty training, but so far has only had one marking accident in his foster home. They are watching him like a hawk, though, around the house to prevent marking and potty accidents.

Snoop is not yet ready for adoption. He is awaiting a vet appointment to address his skin and ear issues but so far seems to be comfortable and smelling a bit better after an antiseptic/antifungal bath and a good ear cleaning. We will keep everyone posted when he is ready to find his forever home!
