Xylitol. Candy, gum, toothpaste, baked goods, and some
diet foods
are sweetened with xylitol. It can
cause
your
dog's
blood sugar to drop and can also
cause liver failure
. Early symptoms include vomiting, lethargy, and coordination
problems
.
