  4. Take It to the Vet for an Examination As Soon As Possible.

If your dog has been bitten you will need to visit a vet to examine the area for infection.

When comforting your pet, be careful as dogs in pain may bite, even if they're usually very calm.

if you or your dog is attacked by another dog, once you are safe, try to get as many details as you can about the dog.
