Officially it is best to wait until your new
puppy
is 8-weeks old, and can leave their mother before you consider getting them groomed. Once the
puppy
has been introduced to its new home and has established relations with the new owner they can think about getting the
puppy
groomed.

Poodles should first be, trimmed groomed, or clipped when they are
between 11 and 16 weeks old
. Poodles should not be groomed or clipped before they are 10 weeks old, as they are too young and have just left their mother.
