Most people assume that the best age to get a dog is between 8 and 12 weeks of age as a puppy, but I don't think that's always the case.

Depending on your environment, a puppy might in fact be a bad choice for your home or lifestyle.

To start, 8 weeks is the earliest you want to be picking your puppy up.
