In puppies, clinical signs include difficulty breathing, a thick nasal discharge, loss of appetite (anorexia), grayish yellow or green soft, odorless stools, persistent crying, seizures, and sudden death. Puppies that appear to be mildly affected often later develop neurological signs or blindness.
